This is a bulletin message reposted from myspace. Wasabi's corgi friend ran away from home and is missing. Zorro is a tri-colored pembroke welsh corgi.
***Zorro ran away earlier this morning, we have not been able to find him. Unfortunately, he does not have his collar on, he chewed it up and I didnt get a new one for him yet. He also does not have that chip on his back either. Please, if anyone in the south Chicagoland suburbs area that finds him, please, bring him to a local animal shelter or Alsip Police Department. we dont want anything bad happening to him. We want him back with our family. Please call me at 815-342-7404. Thank you for your help..***

Still no updates. But,
Still no updates. But, Zorro's family and friends aren't giving up!
:(
Nobody ever turned Zorro in. It just breaks our hearts because myself and Zorro's mom did everything we possibly could to try and get him back, In her main subdivision the week it happened, we made a few hundred fliers and walked door to door passing them to each house and if nobody answered the door we taped the flier to the door. She had made ads online, and all of the local police departments, vets, & animal shelters had been notified. We'd put fliers up at grocery stores, pet stores, even fast food places in the surrounding neighborhoods and nothing. Two weeks after Zorro was gone, his mom's fiance found a breeder and asked me to go with the get her another dog. In no way was in to replace Zorro, but to help his family cope with the emptiness they were feeling since the day he ran away. After visiting the breeder with my friend's fiance and adopting her new corgi, Lucy... I made the drive back out with my own boyfriend and adopted Lucy's litter sister, Daisy. Everything happens for a reason, and the reason for Zorro running off maybe was for us to get Daisy and Lucy. But everything would have been so complete if her family got Zorro back too. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't still think about that pup. I still see his missing flier in my car window everyday, because it's still posted. My friend and I still talk about him every few weeks. There's a big possibility that whoever found him fell in love with him, because he was a very charming puppy. What I don't understand is how they could be so cold hearted and selfish to not even call their local police department to see if any dogs were reported missing before deciding to keep him as their own.
Well, I hate sad stories, but unfortunately almost 9 months have gone by since he went missing, and he was never returned to his family. :(
