I have a major headache… There’s been an unidentified light glowing outside for about a week. It only shines at night time. It’s very suspicious. My mom calls it an outdoor solar light, but I don’t think it’s safe… I’ve barked at my mom to go check it out, but she just keeps laughing at me. When I barked at my dad, he just kept saying, “No!” My parents told me that it’s my job to protect this house, so I’m going to do whatever it takes to make the light go away! I think I’m going to try digging and burying the object during the day time when the light lets its guard down… I’ll prove to my parents that I’m a good doggy!
Today was house cleaning day for my mom. It’s summertime so that means I get to shed my coat. There’s fur everywhere! I personally think it’s nice and cozy. My mom, however, thinks my fur causes allergies and sticks to everything. She went around the whole house vacuuming, scrubbing, brushing, etc and gathered all my loose fur. She managed to put them into a bag and put it next to me. She says there’s enough fur to make another dog… To me, it doesn’t look like there’s enough to make another dog, so I’m going to go around shedding more fur. That way, my mom will be correct and she’ll be happy… *bark bark*
My humans left the tv on for me in the hotel while they were out and about. They think it’s a nice gesture which will keep me company, but I think it’s just an excuse to drown out the noise incase I bark. But anyway, I had nothing better to do, so I gave the TV thing a try. I’m usually not the type of dog who falls for infomercials, but I saw this amazing dog bed! Dogs of all breeds and sizes looked so comfortable while sleeping. 2 easy payments of $19.95 looked like a good deal for a memory foam bed… I think I might chew up my old bed so my humans will get me one of these… It’s either that or faking I have a back injury which my dog breed often gets.
“Nom nom nom crunch crunch crunch…” Ah, this is the life. Never have my humans given me breakfast in bed… that is until now! My humans usually leave me at a doggy daycare when they go on a trip, but this time I got to go with them! We went on a short trip to San Diego! I was treated like the queen’s corgis… After breakfast in bed, I gave my humans a present by vomiting in their car! Trips are fun! Bark Bark!
So the humans got to feast on Lobster Tails ($3.99 sale!) for dinner… while their loving pet, me, is stuck on a prescription diet. Well well well… I had the last laugh! My dad forgot to take out the trash!! While he and mom were out, I found lots of goodies that were still edible!! The trash is an amazing thing. I ate some meat stuck on the lobster tail shell, korean pear peels, hamburger grease, bread, and wet paper towels! Yum! Oh, and I left the cleaning up to mom. She seems to do that well…
One of my absolute favorite things to eat is korean pear. Korean pear is super refreshing, especially after filling my belly up with useless twigs and bugs. I’ve been thinking a lot lately… I want to eat korean pear endlessly, but my mom only gives a tiny piece. I need an endless supply! If only my dad wasn’t under my mom’s control… *sigh* No one is on my side…
I feel like venting a bit today. My doctor put me on a prescription diet, because he says I should lose about 10 pounds. While I have to eat the same kibbles everyday, my parents cook up a feast! Today, they gobbled up salmon burgers right in front of me! They know how much I like salmon, and yet, they didn’t give me any!!! I guess my mom felt guilty, so she gave me a microscopic piece of the left over buns. What am I, a duck? I don’t need bread! Bark Bark!
This stuffed toy is quite tasty. Nom nom nom… My mom got it for free last Christmas. I wonder if she’ll care that I’m eating it… nom nom nom… ooh a bead! Better hide this before my mom finds out. She won’t like it… Must go back to acting like a sweet dog! Oh! and it’s raining off and on today, which means my normal walking time has changed. Bark Bark!
Today, I helped my dad in the studio! I had to listen to the same song a million times! I wonder how my dad stays sane… I’ll take him on a walk later to relieve his stress. I should get a nice treat for thinking of him!
My walking time was short cut again because my dad has kidney stones… Sounds painful, doesn’t it? He went to the emergency room thinking it was his appendix. My mommy looks stressed out… Hopefully, she’ll remember to give me a treat!
